SCRD will host the GRPA District 1 Tournaments for 12U Boys & 14U Boys Basketball Feb. 16-18.

LOCAL TRACK MEET - March 28, 2026
We will host a local track meet on a Saturday, March 28 at 10AM at SCHS. Winners from our local track meet will advance to the GRPA District 1 Meet on April 18 at Burke Co. High School. The cost to register for our local track meet will be $5.00 per participant. Registration will be February 2-March 24. Track will not interfere with the SCRD Spring Baseball and Softball programs. Age Divisions for Track & Field: Boys & Girls 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U
ADULT SOFTBALL LEAGUES
Sign up teams for Adult Softball between March 23 through April 10 at the SCRD office. We will take teams for our Church League and for Men's and Women's Leagues. Don't miss out on the fun this season. Get your team together for the spring season. The cost will be $400/team for the season. Stop by the office starting March 23 to get a team packet.
MARTIAL ARTS CLASSES
Classes are held each Tuesday & Friday in the SCRD gym for ages 5&up. Sign-ups are available with the instructor, Andi Johnson. Call the SCRD office to find out more info and how to sign up. Martial Arts Summer Camp will be offered June 1-3.
BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU CLASSES
This class begins Tuesday, Feb. 10 in the SCRD gym. This program will be a grappling based martial art that emphasizes leverage, technique, and control rather than strength or striking, making it accessible to a wide range of ages and fitness levels, Classes will focus on physical fitness, personal discipline, and practical self-defense.
Class Days: Tuesdays 6:00-7:30pm & Saturdays 9:00-10:30am
Ages: Adults (must be 16+)
Instructor: Bryce Herb (BJJ instructor at Georgia Southern University for the last 3 years)

Registration: May 4 - May 29
Class Dates: June 1-11, 2026 (Mon-Thurs for 2 weeks)
Cost: $30/person/2-week session
Class Times: 9am, 10am, 11am
Beginner, Advanced Beginner, & Intermediate Classes will be offered. Limited spots in each class.
ADULT PICKLEBALL LEAGUE
This league meets each Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday from 7-9PM at the SCRD courts. Our courts will be reserved on these nights for the Pickleball League only. Deanna Bragg is the coordinator for this league. Players must provide their own paddle. All skill levels welcome.
COMMUNITY CENTER RENTALS
Rentals must be made in person in our office. Rentals for 2026 are available on a first come first serve basis. The rental fee of $250/day is required up front to reserve the building. Call our office to inquire about availability.
DISC GOLF
*Come play disc golf! We have a 9-hole disc golf course set up around our complex. Stop by our office if you need to borrow any disc for playing.
